(1) According to this Act or the rules made under this Act, necessary arrangements have been made in any movie house for the safety, health and convenience of the audience and whether or not the prevailing Nepalese laws have been followed while showing the movie. The Chief District Officer can investigate the matter at any time.
(2) For the purpose of checking as per sub-section (1), the Chief District Officer may inspect or cause to be inspected at any time of the movie house.
(3) If a movie house does not have the necessary arrangements as specified for the safety, health and convenience of the audience, or if it is found that the prevailing Nepalese laws are not being followed while showing the movie, the Chief District Officer may order to stop the showing of such movie house or movie.
(4) A person who is not satisfied with the order given by the Chief District Officer under this section may appeal to the Government of Nepal within thirty-five days from the date of the said order.
